Arrive in Chennai and proceed to Puducherry,a charming coastal town known for its French colonial architecture, peaceful beaches. In the evening, enjoy a pleasant walk along the scenic Promenade Beach.
Explore the beautiful town of Puducherry. Visit Auroville and Sri Aurobindo Ashram, followed by Sri Aurobindo Handmade Paper Factory. See Ayee Mandapam at Bharathi Park, visit Manakula Vinayagar Temple and the historic French War Memorial. Also visit Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a beautiful Gothic-style Catholic church with stained glass windows. Later, enjoy a relaxing French heritage walk through the charming French colonies.
In the morning, proceed to Chidambaram and visit the famous Nataraja Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva as Nataraja – the Lord of Dance. Later, explore the scenic Pichavaram Mangrove Forest with a boat ride, known as one of the largest and healthiest mangrove forests in the world.
Proceed to Mahabalipuram famous for its temple and beach.
